What is rush?

Rush is our recruitment period which occurs twice a year at the beginning of the fall and winter semesters.

 

How long is rush?

Rush usually lasts 2-3 weeks during the first month of the semester

How many members do you accept?

We do not have a set number. We wish for everyone to be comfortable during the recruitment period instead of competing for spots in the sorority. We want to get to know you!

Do I have less of a chance of getting accepted if I can't attend every event?

It's understandable if you can't make it to all the events. The more events you attend, the greater the opportunity you have to get to know us sisters and your other potential new members better. The best advice we can give is to attend as many events as possible and to be communicative with sisters if you are not able to come to specific event days.

How will I know when and where events will be held?

A calendar of the recruitment period will be released to our official recruitment instagram page which will state where and when each event will be at. The location and meet up spot will be released a day or two before each event. Meet up spots will have a sister to bring you to the location of the event.

We also create an instagram group chat to communicate with individuals who are rushing. If you are interested in directly joining this group, please do not hesitate to contact us!

How much will it cost to join Alpha Pi Phi?

Our dues are paid per term for the events we hold for the sorority. Just like a team or club, you are paying beforehand for all the mixers, sisterhood events, and other fun things we'll do during the year. Our Rush period, however, is absolutely FREE! Payment plans are also available upon request.
